👗 Can I get a refund if the item doesn't fit?
Each lender decides whether or not to offer refunds for fit issues. All refunds due to fit will be processed as credits.
Most lenders have their refund preference visible in their bio but if you’re unsure of a lender’s policy, please contact them before sending a rental request.
By Rotation will not issue refunds due to fit if the lender has clearly stated that they do not offer them.
📏 How can I check the size and fit of an item?
Lenders are responsible for providing accurate size information on all listings.
We encourage lenders to include additional details, such as how an item fits compared to standard sizing, to help renters make informed decisions.
Because sizing can vary internationally, we always recommend that renters reach out to the lender directly if they have any questions about fit before booking.
👗 Can I try an item on before the rental?
No. Generally, you can't try the item before the rental starts. If you wish to rent for a special occasion, some Lender's may be able to facilitate a shorter rental period which allows you to try it on and return it.
💡 What is By Rotation's recommended fit refund policy?
While each lender sets their own refund policy, By Rotation recommends that lenders offer a full refund (minus postage and cleaning fees) if the renter:
Returns the item on the same day it arrives
Sends it back via Next Day Delivery
Shares the tracking information with the lender
Ensures the item is unworn and returned in good condition
🚨 What should I do if an item was misrepresented?
If you believe a clothing item’s fit or style was misrepresented, you can raise a refund request directly through the app. Please note we recommend you have evidence that you have checked sizing and measurements prior to the rental starting.

💸 How will my refund be issued?
All refunds related to fit will be issued as credit within the By Rotation app, with no expiry date.
Please note that refund credits cannot be converted to cash.
The refunds approved by Lenders due to fit will be strictly processed as:
Rental Days - Credit only
Delivery & Cleaning Fee - Non-Refundable
Can my credit refund for a fit issue be converted into cash?
No, we cannot refund to your original payment method.
