Payments for rentals are temporarily held during approval and only sent to the lender once the rental is completed. If a rental is declined, expires, or canceled, funds are released or the transaction reversed, with refunds taking up to 8 working days. For payment issues, contact your bank for confirmation.
🛍️ Rental request submitted
Your payment is placed on hold while your rental request is being approved. This simply confirms that enough funds are available to complete the booking.
❌ Rental declined or expired?
If your rental is declined, or expires after 48 hours, your held funds will be released the following day.
✅ Rental accepted
Once your rental is accepted, your payment is processed to the lender after the rental has been completed.
🔄 Rental cancelled
If your rental is cancelled, the transaction is reversed. In many cases, the original authorisation disappears from your statement within a few days, making it appear as though the transaction never happened.
⏳ Waiting for a refund?
Approved refunds can take up to 8 working days, depending on your bank, although they’re often processed much sooner.
