You can request a refund from the Rental page in the app, but the item must be returned within 24 hours of reporting an issue. Refunds require lender approval and may take up to 8 working days. If the lender doesn't respond in 72 hours, email help@byrotation.com. Final invoices are non-refundable.
You can request a refund directly from the Rental page in the app.
Important:
To qualify for a refund, the item must be returned to the lender within 24 hours of reporting the issue.
If the item is kept for the full rental period, the renter will not be eligible for a refund, in line with our Terms & Conditions.
How to request a refund
Click ‘Request Refund’ in the rental agreement.
Enter the amount you wish to request.
The lender will need to approve the refund.
Once approved, payment can take up to 8 working days.
💡 Tip: Always communicate with the lender first. Let them know you’re requesting a refund and include any relevant photos. Clear communication helps speed up the process and ensures fairness for both parties.
⏳ Refund Requests Not Responded To
If you’ve submitted a refund request and the lender hasn’t responded within 72 hours, please email help@byrotation.com with:
The reason for your refund request, and
Any supporting information or photos.
Our team will step in to assist and help resolve the issue.
Final Invoices
All invoices that have been agreed by both users and processed are final.
By Rotation cannot support refunds for these payments, and users cannot retract or cancel such agreements.
