What is the Lender Programme?
The upgraded Lender Programme is a new, three-tiered system designed to recognise and reward our dedicated lenders at every stage of their rental journey. We have moved from a single "Top Lender" badge to three distinct tiers: Active Lender, ByRo Muse, and ByRo Pro. This ensures our programme is more inclusive and reflective of our diverse, growing community of Rotators.
How the review process works:
To ensure fairness and consistency, your lender status is assessed at the start of each quarter. We review your performance based on a rolling 12-month window, meaning we look at your lending activity over the past year to determine your eligibility.
What we measure:
Your tier placement is determined by your overall volume of completed rentals, alongside three key reliability metrics:
- Lender Rejection Rate: The frequency at which you decline incoming rental requests. To maintain a strong score, we recommend keeping your item calendars up to date and only accepting requests you can fulfil.
- Expiry Rate: The frequency at which rental requests expire because they were not accepted or declined within the 48-hour window. Prompt communication is key to a great in-app experience!
- Cancellation Rate: The frequency at which you, as the lender, cancel an agreed rental before it begins. As cancellations cause significant disruption for renters, keeping this rate as close to zero as possible is essential for reaching and maintaining our top tiers.
By consistently providing a reliable and positive experience for renters, you can seamlessly progress through the tiers and unlock exclusive community perks along the way.

An Active Lender is a responsive Rotator who is building a trusted reputation within our shared wardrobe. This tier recognises users who have successfully completed a few rentals while demonstrating a commitment to reliability.

A ByRo Muse is a community favourite. These are our tastemakers, known for sharing an in-demand wardrobe and delivering consistently great, five-star rental experiences.
What is a ByRo Pro?
A ByRo Pro represents the ultimate tier of our Lender Programme. These are our most experienced, top-rated lenders who are dedicated to providing a flawless, professional rental experience. They handle a high volume of rentals with near-perfect reliability.
